"With the Rockport Rattler XMAX and a slow sinking soft plastic I
caught this 23 1/4" 4.6 lb. trout at the mouth of Highland Bayou. I
was reeling in the lure was about ten feet from my kayak. She hit so
hard the guy in a yak about a hundred feet away heard it."

My fishing partner Ryan Alford and I caught this hefty stringer of
reds in Freeport, Texas. We found an area with a swift incoming
current and anchored our kayaks near a fork in a channel located on a
large mud flat. We used the 1/8 and 1/4 Rockport Rattlers in red
and chartreuse with the wild eyes combined with Norton Bull Minnows in
red shad and natural mullet colors. We would simply cast up into
the current and let the tide sweep the Rockport Rattler back toward
us. The water was extremely off color due to the swift incoming
tide and I think the rattle really helped these redfish to locate the
bait. The fish on this stringer checked in at 27.5", 27", 26", 26", 24", and 23".
Who says winter fishing is slow?! Thanks for making a great
product Capt. Rex! Keep up the good work.

"Fishing under pier lights on 03/09/06 on Glow Rockport Rattler w/
red eyes and I caught 7 keeper trout that night, one guy caught 0 and
the other guy caught 1 keeper trout keeper & I was also the only one
with the RR's.
On 03/11/2006 I didn't join the Specktacular Tourney
because my brother and I decided not to enter because our Honey hole was
going to take the brunt of the Gail force winds. We decided to go
fishing anyway and ended up having the best catches in a long time and
wouldn't you know this was the big catch of the day and would have won
1st place in the Specktacular Kayak Tourney with 3 trout up to 22".
We also caught a few others on your product.
I have really enjoyed using your products and as you
can see it has paid off. It's awesome that a lure company takes some
time out to give thanks back to the public for their support.
I appreciate the opportunity to enter into this
contest. I love your product and will spread the wealth of info. You
have made a customer for life!!!!"

David has submitted several outstanding pics
for the RR FOMA Award, however, I just couldn't leave out the one with
his son's smile. :)
"The wind was really ripping and the water was mud colored when I
saw a slight swirl on the surface in about 12 inches of water. I thew
the RR jighead about 2 feet past the water swirl and on the second
twitch BANG the fight was on. This redfish was released minutes after
the photo was taken to be caught another day. The little guy with the
big smile in the photo is my three year old son who absolutely LOVES
redfish. I owe that smile on his face to the Rockport Rattler I was
throwing that day. Thanks and keep up the good work!!"

"Didn't get to make it out to the salt this weekend, so i threw the
kayak in the truck and headed out to the blanco. got out there and
realized i had forgotten my freshwater box. looked in the saltwater box
and sitting on top was a package of black head/gold eye RR i had picked
up a week ago to give a try. figured what the heck and tied one one and
stuck the most freshwater lookin trout killer i had in the
bag(limetruese bottom, pumkinseed top, white tail). managed a small LMB
very quickly ....
I put a cast towards the bank and gave a couple jigs before it hit the
ground only to feel the bite. i set the hook and felt nothing but a
log... a log pullin drag. didnt feel like a bass... maybe it was a
cat... then it surface and gave a little jump...GAR ON!! didnt give much
more a a fight and got him close to the boat for a few shots. i have
seen many gar out there, just never seen one on the end of my line. i
wish i could have gotten some better pics, but never having caught one,
i wasnt sure how to handle one and i was about to learn how to with a
big one on my lap. i managed to get him alongside the boat and retrieve
the RR and release the big guy. he was about 3 feet and i have no idea
on the weight.
I have seen and heard about RR's catchin alot of fish
in the salt, and even a few in the fresh, just never heard of one
hooking into a gar.
I'll be throwing RR's in the future and sending you some pics of even
bigger fish . Thanks for a great
product."

The second cast to the same spot was this one that went 30 inches."
